AdWords Report Center To Remove Older Reports on September 2, 2008

Via the Google Inside AdWords Blog, Google has announced that, come September 2nd 2008, it will carry out a clean-up campaign in Google Adwords. Termed as “Summer Cleaning”, all the AdWords reports that were created six months ago, i.e before March 2nd 2008, will be deleted from the Google AdWords records.

However, the deletion of reports will not affect the account data in any manner, whatsoever.

Various reports have been witnessed at Webmaster World, stating that Google might have disabled or removed AdSense advertisements from Google Cache.

“We used to all complain about AdSense displaying off topic ads when your page was displayed in the Google cache.

That's no longer a problem because it appears all ads in the content network are now disabled when you display pages with AdSense via Google cache links.

Last week we had reported that, Microsoft had applied a new upgrade to its advertising platform adCenter.

Now, via the adCenter Blog, Microsoft has announced that it has updated its keyword research tool, with a fully redesigned user interface, that would assist advertisers in locating keywords and plan campaigns in adCenter.

According to the adCenter blog, "This new resource complements the Microsoft adCenter Add-in Beta for Excel by providing access to the same deep audience insights directly in the adCenter Research tab."

At the beginning of this month, we had reported that, Google had blocked the widely used search engine rank checking tool 'WebPosition Gold'. Then, a few days later Matt Cutts and Googler JohnMu spoke about the reasons and the methods that Google employs to block such automated rank checking tools.

Now, according to Search Engine Roundtable, it seems that Google is hell bent on its resolution to evade and block scrapers, by deliberately changing the search results in an effort to confuse the scrapers.
